What A Way To Celebrate

Today I began to pack to return home. It took a while, but I got it done. This wasn't the way I wanted to end. I never got to say goodbye to my roommates; they like to go home early on Fridays. That, and I like to sleep, a lot. Who doesn't like sleep?
Well, I celebrated turning 19 in a way I didn't want to. I packed to go home, and I'm 2200 miles away from family. So this birthday was bittersweet. While I enjoyed being in the company of friends (and a few people I didn't know) nothing beats celebrating a birthday than with family. But, that's just me.
Well, this time tomorrow, I should be landing back in Boston. However, I'm not looking forward to the three hour car ride back home. And that's only if the weather is good. Which, from what I hear, it's far from good. It's been snowing all day, much to my dismay.
America, here I come. I can't wait to be back home.

Morning Alex! Please allow this slight commercialism. As fellow exodus journalists/bloggers, we are letting people know of our new blog called, Directory Assistance. We are hosting to the community a list of names and locations of bloggers who had once been AOL journalists, or are still AOL journalists, but who have opened in exchange, or addition an Internet Blog.

Directory Assistance is published by an advocate team of Vivian, Judith, Patrick, Gabreael, Virginia, Vince and me (Ayn). We are offering an open community blog that serves as a form of connection between you and community members like us.

You are invited to stop by Directory Assistance blog and leave questions, comments, concerns, or make additions, changes, or deletions of your blog listing. At the bottom and top of the sidebar Directory list, there will always be the most recent html update of people and journals listed at Directory Assistance, changes will be updated daily.

You are invited to copy these codes freely to your sidebar or blog body and update as often as you would like. Again it is a list of your fellow Journalists/Bloggers (who wish to be included). If you like the service, please let others know. At its starting point, there are approximately 170 of us represented on the list. Thanks for being here and letting us stop by. Let us also know your thoughts!

With all our heart,
Your Directory Assistance

Our son was home in August for a month after being in HI for 19 months. He said the same thing about his birthday and last Christmas. Sadly we will miss him this Christmas too, but we stay connected on the phone pretty much hip to hip.

Happy Belated Birthday!

Merry Christmas To You & Yours!

Gabreael
